metts-240x340In April 2015, Cambridge Security welcomed Steve Metts to our executive team as general manager for the South Florida operations. As he celebrates his one-year anniversary in this role, we’re taking the opportunity to highlight some of the many contributions Steve has made to our organization over the past year.

Cambridge Security has experienced tremendous growth during this time, in no small part due to Steve’s initiatives. He has played a critical role in the development of new branch offices in Palm Beach County, and more recently, Naples, which opened in February 2016. Under Steve’s leadership, our expansion in South Florida has afforded us the opportunity to serve a greater number of clients, with a focus on residential security services for luxury gated communities and high rise buildings, retail security for luxury auto dealerships, and event security at premier events.

With more than 30 years of experience in security management, investigations, and physical security, Steve’s contributions to Cambridge Security go beyond assisting with business development. He has enhanced our internal organization through hands-on leadership, and played an active role in all areas of the business, from strengths assessment and goal setting, to hiring and training employees, and more. He has also represented Cambridge Security as a speaker, sharing his security expertise at events such as last fall’s Fort Lauderdale Condo and HOA Expo.

In addition to the contributions Steve has made to our organization this year, he has also taken an active role in the community we serve, participating in events such as the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Buddy Walk and the American Heart Association Heart Walk/Run, and serving as a volunteer at the Prader-Willi Syndrome Annual Festival.

We celebrate Steve’s one-year anniversary with Cambridge Security, and we look forward to continued growth under his skilled leadership.
