In the security industry, officers often work with minimal oversight. At Cambridge, our Command Center uses CCTV monitoring to ensure strict adherence to policies and service standards. Each shift includes five control checks by our Command Center Coordinators, with any issues logged and emailed to branch leadership. We focus on key areas: attentiveness, appearance, gatehouse and phone etiquette, and physical security.
Officer Inspections
Field Training Officers provide 24/7 roving supervision, conducting unannounced site inspections in marked Cambridge Security vehicles. They audit site expectations, assess officer performance, and provide on-the-spot coaching. Inspection results are sent to branch management daily for review and follow-up.
Operations Specialist Visits
The Operations Specialist serve as the primary client contact. They conduct site visits, oversee security staff, and resolve operational issues. Responsibilities include training, personnel management, and enforcing company protocols. Leveraging corporate resources, they address staffing, service concerns, and performance issues to maintain optimal security and service standards.
